Accessibility statement
Last updated 19 Oct 2026.
We want Litrewise to be usable by as many people as possible. We aim to meet level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2.
What we have built in
- You can use the whole site with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline on every control and a "Skip to content" link when you first press Tab.
- Text has strong contrast in both the light and dark themes, and the site follows your device's light or dark setting.
- Colour is never the only signal: cheapest prices carry a rank badge, map pins show the price, and statuses are written in words.
- Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall, and the site works on phones and at 200% zoom without sideways scrolling.
- Animation is limited and switches off if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Every price shown on the map is also in the list of stations, so you never need the map to get the information.
Known limitations
- The map is a visual tool and is not fully operable by screen reader or keyboard. Use the "All stations" list instead; it holds the same prices, distances and directions links.
- The map images come from OpenStreetMap, which we don't control.
- We have tested the site ourselves but it has not yet had an independent accessibility audit.
